What they are looking for is evidence that documents what happened when as well as evidence of potential capacity. But literally no one, except gullible right wing idiots, believe were going to find large stockpiles of WMDs. Those conclusions have been been written and finalized. The survey team has moved well beyond that. In fact, the evidence collected to date actually has Saddam systematically dismantling his WMD arsenal in the 1990's.
As for what happens if Kerry is elected and he keeps us in Iraq, I think that would be inevitable. We are stuck there until the job is finished. My problem is that George Bush took us there in the first place. It was a bad idea. It was bad policy. It has been bad for the American people. It has been bad for the Middle-East. Now we're stuck with the consequences and the only way out is to finish the work, which means more soldiers will die and billions more will be spent. I'm not happy about it, but that's the way it is. All that can and should be done is to replace the incompetent Bush administration with people who know what they're doing so that fewer have to die and less money is spent.
