It was long supply lines and a harsh winter.
It wasn't the fighting in front of Stalingrad and Moscow, it was winter and long lines of supply.
And, I'm sure, it was the long Russian lines of supply and the harsh German winters that helped the Russians enter Berlin.
Think.
Would you say the losses Germany experienced in Russia in men and material, the losses of manpower being well-nigh irreplaceable, were not due to Russian efforts, but the weather got 'em, and the fact that they were poorly supplied?
The 20 million people Russia lost in that war - they were all standing around watching the Germans struggle with the cold weather and long supply lines?
Obviously not. But, frankly, I'm getting tired of trying to point out the obvious. Good luck with that worldview.
