The one thing that might redeem CBS on this a bit is if what they presented are transcriptions of what they believe to be the actual originals which are in such bad condition as to be useless without a great deal of forensics.
But that they chose not to explain that up front makes it very doubtful.
The memos as shown do not fit into standard military format or procedure.
So they are either undisclsoed transcripts or forgereries.
