Close...very close ;-)

Each species has certain shared genetic composition. When translated into quantum wave forms this DNA does indeed generate its own frequency and wavelengths. So does the structures and organs this DNA shapes. The pack does share compatible signals and incompatible signals can generate irritation.

Who among us conservative doesn't hear nails on a chalkboard when someone like James Carville starts talking? That's a completely incompatible signal and one wants to click it off as soon as one hears it. For liberals Bush speaking now does the same thing. They have developed a complete aversion to his frequency.

Who here doesn't hate when I start talking about wave signals, frequencies, etcetera? That too is an example of the signal rejection process.

In simplest terms like attracts like. In psychological terminology the pack enforces uniformity so as to maintain strength and not become dissoluted by foreign ideas which might cause division.

We all share some attributes and are part of certain packs while sub-packs are formed within the greater pack. If someone starting trashing the entire space effort, everyone here would reject it. If someone comes here and starts espousing liberal rhetoric it will find a portion of the HZ responsive. Same is true with conservative rhetoric. Religious rhetoric will find a small group of HZ members responsive while anti-religious statements will also have its own reception committee.

As for harmony with the universe...the universe is infinite and comprised of infinite signals of infinite diversity. To become one with the universe would mean to be capable of understanding and relating with all that's in it. With humanity barely able to relate with itself, that goal is more than just a long way off...it is, in fact impossible because new signals will always keep forming. The best we can hope for is to become capable of understanding and relating with greater and greater parts of this infinite universe.
