Things I put up with:
- Reworked crap from Michael Moore's catbox (Halliburton, anyone?).
- repetitive casualty counts without analysis, context, or even description.
- Issues, sources, links, and data that have been debunked here long ago, recycled over and over again as though nobody had ever said anything about them in the first place. I wish I had a nickel for every time I've had to dig up the same damn references over and over again.
- Rambling posts that sound like the bearded guy standing on the corner who talks to mailboxes.
- Posts from people with bizarre political agendas trying to apply them to almost every situation.
Etc.
Of course, there are many exceptions to this, which makes the board worth while.
It isn't all one-sided here.
I will agree that what we used to call "boogerhead" posts (replies basically calling the original poster names without actually addressing the comment in any reasoned way--raised to a fine art in some Space threads) are less than productive. Both sides are not without sin in this area.
