Actually, a vandal did some damage to our roof at work, and when Ivan blew through, rainwater streamed in through the ductwork and part of the sky fell into the library.

We have lost about a third of the parenting collection as well as several shelving units, Science Fiction is closed, the toddler area is closed, and a small section of the picture book collection is under serious examination for humidity damage and mold growth.

-sigh- An insurance claims festival is underway. That won't replace our out-of-print books, but it's something.

Also, Story Time and Toddler Time season is reopening! And we're having school tours! Had 5 groups in on Wednesday; talked for 3 straight hours. No words left for here. ;)
