Well its been too busy at work to post and too busy at home as well. My kids came down with Hand Foot Mouth Disease last week. I wouldn't even wish it on SteveS who must be evil, since I'm the good one.

Hand Foot Mouth (and butt) disease causes blisters in the aforementioned areas. My 4 yr old had a mild case, and my 1 1/2 year old got it pretty severly. Her mouth and tongue were so sore she quit eating. Luckily we were able to force enough liquid down her to keep her from dehydrating and out of the hospital. The first day was unpleasant, the next 3 miserable, but on the 5th they both felt so good they were bouncing off the walls. On the bright side this coupled with the croupe from earlier in the year we have finally met our deductible and the rest of the year should be like living in Canada except with decent doctors and no waits. (Hey it is the Flame Board)

We did manage to pass the dreaded disease on to 2 other families we are friends with...or were friends with.
