Ok agree there is a moral obligation to stay. Though is a self evident truth that some don't accept. It's a moral obligation because we send our troops there, and quitting before they can get the job done would disgrace their effort. We also had a legal obligation when we invaded and occupied the country- though it could be said that we met the strict legal obligation when we transferred sovereignty, this strict legal point doesn't stand up in the broader moral aspect.
