Why does private health care go away with a national system?
If there is no mandate to do so, it seems to me that the only shift is in which customer is paying for the services, equipment and drugs. With a scaled back national system that only provides catestrophic care and possibly drugs, why can't people supplement with private care if they have the means?
I'm not one of those people that believes that all deserve exactly the same life Tom, simply a chance not hampered by devestating illness and injury.
