I saw the wound in the guy's leg

The area they debrided was as big as a baseball.
I have no problem catching (and have caught) black widows, tarantulas, scorpions, copperhead snakes and water moccasins, but I get to study those a bit and avoid (so far) the bite.
The kangaroo bits sound like a real hoot.
