I reserve that for cockroaches (vacuum followed by a good spray into the vacuum cleaner) .. although i really dislike large spiders, the huntsman seems so 'elegant' from an engineering point of view, it seems a shame to get rid of it
But if it really was a pair (and not just the same one returning) then I will remember your nightmarish scenario and give them the hoover treatment. It seems even a 30 foot drop onto hard concrete is nothing for these buggers.
