Can't follow the links, but would be curious as to

the kwh costs of those sustainable resources you mention,

the French subsidy, and

the kwh costs of power from a modern nuclear plant.

'Cause I don't think, for instance, that one can turn old lettuce into oil and then generate power less expensively than a nuclear plant can generate it.
