Playing with semantics Chris. ST clearly meant respect as in respecting the military power and determination of the US, not respect for diplomatic skills or moral leadership. I'm quite sure the polling numbers you site do not indicate a lack of respect for US military power. Do you think their opinions on moral leadership are framed through fair and balanced reporting unincumbered by cultural bias?
