I'm going to do this once more, very, very slowly...

- If George W. Bush had invaded only Afghanistan

- chased al Qaeda out of the country

- destroyed their bases

- thrown the Taliban out of power

- either caught, or did not catch bin Laden

- If George W. Bush had never laid a single glove on Iraq

Al Qaeda, the entire cadre of radical Islamist terrorists, and hostile Muslim nations would not be the slightest bit less angry with us. Their behavior would not be one iota different. Their threats and vows of revenge would be just the same.

It's like trying to pound cooked spaghetti through a 2 x 4, but get it through your heads:

If Bush had not invaded Iraq, you would still be looking at an October Surprise tape from bin Laden, or whoever the hell took over for him if he were dead. You would still be looking at terror alerts, attacks on troops overseas, and hostages taken from many different countries. All the creeps, weapons, and money now pouring into Iraq would be pouring into Afghanistan. Okay, maybe it wouldn't be as easy for the Syrians.

NO DIFFERENCE.
