Next time you see a pit bull sleeping in someone's yard, do an experiment. Walk past it once, and just glance at it. Then go past again, but this time go in the yard and poke at it with a big stick. Let us know the results.
My preference: slip some ASA into a nice steak and toss it at the mutt. Not the most humane way to do it, but effective and no collateral damage.
