Anything that happens was predicted at some point, some where by a good upstanding conservative.

Anything bad that happens and was predicted to go wrong by a liberal* was just a case of blind-squirrel-nut/broken watch etc etc.

e.g.
No WMD.
Armed insurrection
Massive cost
Massive stretch of military capabilities
