Good question....
and I don't have the answer. I know last year in Sept. or Aug. some motorist were caught in flash floods at Badwater which is 280 feet below sea level.
When walking through some of those narrow canyons I thought of what would I do if water suddenly came rushing at me (flash flooding) and I realized there was nowhere to go at some locations.
