TS is brain dead- factually, scientifically. that should clear up where that line is.
One of the things the parents never talk about are the numerous brain scans taken over the years. Documented lack of any meaningful function consistent with consciousness or thought or recovery. More than one medical expert has described her cortex as a 'sack of fluid'. There is no meaningful activity outside of the brain stem. Yes, of course, science always contains error- but what else is science for?
Point to the literature suggesting that TS is in a state other than a persitant vegetative state. Point to any scientific findings that long-dead synapses now structurally lost forever are going to magically return.
I won't bother waiting.
"As far as the expense and resources are concerned, what about cryo? People spend fortunes freezing bodies and heads in the hope that they can be re-whatever in the future. Is this so different?"
Cryonauts spend their own money in the context of their own stated will to roll the dice, however clumsily they do so. TS apparently told plenty of people, according to the due findings of the courts of law that have ruled, that she would never have wanted this.

- She wasn't hooked up to any machinery, just a feeding tube
- Please don't attempt humor on this matter, even on Flame.
- By that definition, my grandkids are being kept alive artificially
- I would think you'd ask Robert to remove the above. I'd hope so.
- No, I stand by what I wrote
- Regarding her neurological condition. Or, if there were a chance I'd agree with you.
- Sounds like the neurologists disagree. (n/t)

- and here the agenda behind the noise comes out

- You are the one who is turning this matter into a circus
- By that definition, my grandkids are being kept alive artificially
- So she wasn't hooked up to any machinery except the machinery she was hooked up to.
