cerebral cortex

Aren't you applying your laypersons knowledge of neurology as stated by experts of your choosing?

We have not unlocked all the secrets of the human brain and there are experts who believe she is not persistently vegetative.

Shouldn't the life or death of a person fall under the rule of law based on their condition rather than the wishes and desires of others? Those of us that oppose CP live with it because the law is somewhat clear and not applied according to the whims of individuals.

Is TS being afforded equal protection under the law when there are others in similar to identical condition that are allowed to live out their natural life?

I tend to believe TS is dead and all the affectations are nothing more than reflex but I believe her death should be based on law applicable to all in her condition, not just those with relatives playing god with their existence.

There is plenty of precedent for death based on erroneous medical treatment. We bled people to death for years, believing we were helping them.
