A lot of people have thought of Terri as being merely paralysed and have imagined themselves in the same position. Conscious but immobile. "I have no mouth and I must scream." Buried alive. The outrage. The horror. These are natural fears, reactions and emotions, but some feaful people have been reacting on emotional auto-pilot, rather than really considering the facts of the matter.
