Levitus
Graphs are interesting in the first Levitus paper. Not quite the steady upward curve that the CO2 levels seem to have. Anybody got an explanation for the heat loss in the 1950s and 1960s?
Get a ruler and draw a few lines on these graphs. If his paper had been written in 1970--not exactly the pre-industrial age--what would his conclusions have been? 1960?
Anybody got a link to their more recent paper that I don't have to pay for?
Please stop using "peer-reviewed" like it's a magic wand. I've seen enough this past week to know that, in certain areas of publication, ten scientists aren't that much more likely to be correct than one is.
