No, we shouldn't bail out GM. Pain is how an organism learns things, and losing money and dropping stock is how a corporation learns things. If GM was making the same money, and having no problems, why would they change what they're doing?
The government should let the chips fall where they may. The right to make money includes the right to lose it when you pick the wrong product.
I didn't say all output on global change was politically or financially motivated, but enough of it is that you have to be careful.
