Truman, Kennedy and Johnson were no more leftists than I am, something modern Democrats like to conveniently overlook.

It was negotiated into a loss by a Republican President.

Cute. I suppose if McGovern had been President, he would have won Vietnam for us. Same as Kerry would have fixed Iraq in a week, I suppose.
