A little info on jms...

He helped teach me essentially every bit of geology I know... he was quite a memorable character that made class work and field work exciting and fun, AND FUNNY... he NEVER treated us a 'kids' at all...

That summer went a good ways in shaping my view of science, and did wonders for my self confidence... It was the summer before I started taking college courses, the self confidence that summer gave me could not have come at a better time...

My parents felt that I was a changed person after that summer... I REMEMBER THAT SUMMER AS THE FUNNEST AND MOST IMPORTANT SUMMER OF MY LIFE...

I am damn glad you found this place jms!!!
