You're much better suited to the imaginary/fantasy sci-fi interpretations of physical data, Nick. But if you want to agree with RL, be my guest, and if you agree with his statements then you're equally ignorant of simple scientific principles and can't read to boot.
RL said polarization does not make waves predictable or influence their direction - he said such a statement was nonsensical. That's not even close to acceptable ignorance for a high school physics geek, much less someone paid to turn on and operate an expensive laser which uses polarization to control and manipulate the beam. Go ahead, check your science encyclopedia, read the links I gave, whatever. This argument is insane. I find it hard anyone doesn't understand simple wave polarization. Even having this argument is like arguing water = H2O.
RL's BS passes muster with folks peripherally knowledgeable, but it's clear he's doing exactly what he accuses others of - quoting things he doesn't really understand.
But it makes it paifully clear that when I talk of isotopes, quantum resonance, frequency relationship, vortices or anything else I mention I might as well be ciphering my posts with my Fortezza crypto-card.
PS
Here's another animated polarizationlink hopefully it's without "obscure" and "complex" definitions you may not be able to grasp. If Klueless Kyla can grasp it there may be hope for you Nick.
If that doesn't help you understand...It's hopeless.
