RL is using the accepted definitions of physics to speak precisely about physical phenomena. Since he handles in-phase elecromagnetic energy on a daily basis, he probably has a useful working knowledge of the terminology.
But since you appear to have a regular working relationship with an imaginary vortex, perhaps you are using words in a twisted and obscure manner?
