Syria is isolated. Turkey is on our side, although there are Kurd issues. Iran has a fledgling democracy on both sides now.

For a followup, if Israel does not reach an agreement with the Palestinians what do you think Iraq's position will be on that conflict, Tom?

Don't know. I do know that Saddam was paying Palestinian terrorists to kill Israelis. Not sure how you could do too much worse than that.
