The "bigger picture" is that Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction as our government claimed in order to justify a pre-emptive attack on another nation. The "bigger picture" is that invading Iraq was completely unnecessary and irrelevent to American interests and contrsary to our long term foreign policy interests. The "bigger picture" is that our government has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on an unnecessary war "justified" by falacious claims about non-existent WMDs. The "bigger picture" is that over 1,700 American soldiers have been killed in this ridiculous and reckless venture.
