Iraq Commentary
Here is an excellent series of commentaries on Iraq published in this morning's Seattle Times. Keep in mind that the Seattle Times is a Republican paper that supported Bush for president:
The ticking clock
The seeds of insurgency
The cost of war at home and abroad
The search for candid answers about our progress in Iraq

Perhaps the best quote comes from the last article:
"The measuring bar we use to decide to send Americans to war should be extremely high. I think the bar we used on this one was about the height of an asphalt curb, and descends lower as we learn daily of the building evidence of misinformation spoon-fed to us as justification for the war.
When we ask American families to take on the burden of defending our country with one of their own, we should do so with the utmost degree of certainty, clarity and honesty."
Well said. The fact is this nation is being run by a gaggle of neocon incompetents who hold little regard for certtainty, clarity and honesty. Even those who endorsed Bush for president are now finally getting it.
