News is a business hawking their product.
If it bleeds it leads; man bites dog, this is stuff of news.
Believing news is only about facts, is like believing preachers are pious and live their lfe without sin.
Today and everyday, in America, somewhere around 100 people died from car accidents, thousands are being injuried, a couple of people were murdered in every major city, thousands of older people died, about 25 people committed suicide, etc, etc. And this is just the bleeding type news. There is tons of the man bites dog variety. So there is no shortage of news material. It gets sifted and selected depending on what some consider news which "the public should know" and seems to sell well.
There are an infinite amount of notes to play, but MSM sings like a choir, in which members are suppose to dream singing in key with perfect voice. They don't actually sing that well. But they are your kids on school choir, so you might happily endure their performance- day after day.
