We went to war with Iraq to squelch their WMD's before they blew us all up, and then we went after Sadam Hussein (ex US business partner and politico entepreneur), because he was supposedly in bed with Al Queda and because he was a bad, bad man.
Then, when those excuses flamed out, we were bringing them "democracy" while dropping 500 lb bombs into their streets, and breaking down their doors to see if they were "with us or against us".
So, in effect, we have attacked their culture, and in effect their culture is striking back at us. This is a political and religious war. It was not based on DEFENSE of our country, but rather as an offense developed by the exalted, self-righteous One who sits in the White House and his hungry, greedy syncophants who sit at his right hand pulling his strings and making up new laws that blow away decades of careful lawmaking.
