...you can never really trust yourself that you are doing so successfully, and accurately. Never trust people who ae absolutely sure of the correctness and virtue of their actions or beliefs. An honest man is always asking himself "Am I really right about this, or am I just making excuses for myself?"

And an honest man never really knows for sure.
