Hurricanes have been around since man has been living an America, and probably long before that. They have been hitting the Gulf Coast as long as man has lived here. That is nothing new.
I have been reading about the 1900 storm that hit Galveston in that year. Did you know that during the summer of 1900, 100 degree temperatures baked the northeastern US and many people died from the heat. It was very similar to this last summer. This was 105 years ago. This is nothing new.
