Donald, you use every attempt you can to bash the President, so don’t try and deny it. In your post above, you used my non-political post as a chance to blame and bash the president.
You failed to miss my point, which is, hurricanes have been around the Gulf for ages. However, the millions of people and the structures they build, have not. Of course more people will be affected by hurricanes now than in the past- because there are more people living along the coast than in the past.
This is not new. The summer of 1900 was just as hot for New England as this last summer.
The Earth’s climate is always changing. The global average temperature rises and fall. The Sea leave rises and fall. We have hot ages and ices ages. When the dinosaurs roamed the Earth, the Earth was much warmer. The sea level was higher than it is today and there were probably no ice caps. Then we had the ice age.
The Earth’s climate is always changing. And hurricanes have been hitting the Gulf Coast since there was a Gulf coast. And don’t forget that the Suns’ heat out put is slowly rising.
