OK....

A quick google search shows that Liz Edwards has been finding alien UFOs and alien artifacts in NASA photos and other photos of all kinds for quite a long time.

If you liked that one bit of insanity, you will LOVE http://iwonderproductions.com/iwp_ilinks.htm

She is a UFO loon that finds anomalies in pretty much anything she wants to... from what I can see she excells at enlarging a section of a picture until she is looking a a few pixels and then calling the pixelated blob a 'sun cruiser' or other such nonsense...

But lets cut to the chase...

Here she takes the picture and says she sees a square:

and then also apparently sees a pentagon....

One site (http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Olympus/6581/double_rainbow6.html) claims: "Liz also devotes a page to the possibility that an ancient Roman map, recently discovered, corresponds to this mysterious city on Mars, and she could very well be right."

Since most links to her "work" are broken it is a little tough to determin if she is a fraud or just insane- what is clear is that there is no credibility to ANY of this nonsense...

As for her working with NASA, the ONLY verification I have seen that she has anything to do with NASA (other than perverting the data they realease) is an email exchange:

She Emailed:

Dear Mr.Gurman,

I have been studying the SOHO films for over a year now. There are two separate anomalies that I wish you would clear up for me. The story has turned fantastic, and there are comments and questions that you may see as not so favorable. But Sir, no one will answer me. I am hoping that you will resolve this story for me so I can post your scientific description on my web site and let the people know exactly what they are seeing. As the discoverer of what is called the Sun Cruisers, I would also like to let the people know from me just what this is.

As you view the site you will see the many many anomalous pictures that I have captured over the months of the Sun Cruisers, as well as 300 more that could post of these anomalous objects.

The pictures captured come directly from the the SOHO films. They have not been touched up in anyway to change the shape or the position. The structure is just as you see it from the film.

Once you view these pics you will be able to see why such fantastic conclusions have been made.

Please, contact me as soon as possible with your scientific findings.

Thank you for your time concerning this matter.

one would think if she had any NASA affiliation she would mention that fact...

The reply:

Ms. Edwards, I have examined the image that you have posted on your web site. The "object" you have identified as a SunCruiser is in fact YA cosmic ray hit that has saturated along the CCD column. If you play the LASCO movies available on the web, you will see that we detect hundreds of these particle hits during any day, and that they frequently take unusual form.

For the record, I am not the US Project Scientist for SOHO. Rather I am an operations/research scientist on the LASCO and EIT teams.

I hope this clears up your confusion about the interpretation of our data.

With best regards. O. C. St.Cyr

Thus proving she was able to waste 15 minutes of a real scientist's time with nonsense....

Here is a suggestion, JEKing, go to the official NASA sites for the mars rovers and orbiters... look at the Cassini images and data... educate yourself on the real mysteries they are revealing- There is no reason to play in fantasy land to find AMAZING things...

Here is an example:

http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/image/0510/DioneRingside_cassini_c72.jpg

see, no aliens, no roman cities, no squares/triangles/pentagons, no martian water treatment plants... just a picture from a human instrument, launched not so long ago, of an alien planet and its moons... My grandmother rode a horse to school... she lived to se that instrument, Cassini, launched...

Tell me, what is more amazing? A pixellated blob that means nothing, or the fact that we have gone from horse transport to technicolor closeups of other planets in one lifetime?
