The humiliation factor
Humiliation is an extremely important factor.
That's what led to WW2 .
That's what led the US to the Moon.
That's what's leading the US away from the Shuttle and back to the Moon.
That's what led the US to Iraq after 9/11 even though there were no connections.
That's what's driving Iraqis against the occupying forces, even if they're glad Saddam is gone.
That's what's keeping the US in Iraq.
That's what is questioned when dead soldiers come back.
What's the future going to be?
It is dangerous to play with the humiliation factor, very dangerous and unpredictable too.
