Even this doesn't look quite as bad as the NBC one last year with a magnitude 11 (Said Dr. Tufnel of the USGS: "our quakes go to eleven")earthquake in CA, where LA literally falls into the sea and the scientists watch as a huge crack opens up into a new seaway. "The Core" sounded even worse, but I have not and will not watch that.
I will concede to Tom that the scientific idiocy perpetrated by Hollywood is as worrying as the ID crap. If the schools wanted to teach that you could deflect an asteroid the size of Texas by having Bruce Willis piss on it, I'd fight that just as hard.
