For a real treat, go back and locate a collection of Harold Gray's original comic strips from the 1930s and 1940s. Try a library, first. They're hard to find. Fantagraphics published a few years, then quit.
Warbucks is the capitalist as hero.
And good grief, how could we have forgotten Barks' Scrooge McDuck?
The one who earned every last dime in that money bin "square."
Don Rosa, who has done yeoman work in carrying on Barks' heritage, assembled a complete biography of Scrooge ("Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck"). I have it in comic form, but imagine my surprise when I found the whole damn magilla online, along with almost every other duck comic in existence, no doubt less-than-legally. Sit down a spell. It's worth it.
