Do you remember why the Commerce Clause was originally written?
It was to make doing business across state lines easier. This was before the courts morphed it into something that allowed the Federal government absolute control over every form of economic behavior.
Please describe for me how Microsoft would do business in your "Federal" scenario.
By the way, by coming up with yet another creative restriction on the private sector, something you seem to have an endless supply of, you tend to prove my point that you literally cannot come up with an idea for making government smaller.
Your straw man above about my wanting to "eliminate" government is silly. Even Ayn Rand thought a government was necessary, and I would be willing to accept even more government than she wanted.
