I see what happened in a different perspective.
Although I think she has the RIGHT to wear her T-shirt, I question her wisdom about wearing it to such a high profile event in Washington, involving our CIC and national television. It's like wearing "I'm an atheist" T-shirt in the Roman Catholic church. Not a very smart idea.

I think she would have gained much more political capitol and repsect if she had just dressed properly for the event and not made a spectacle of herself. She may have met some others who would have supported her cause, but now feel they are glad she was pulled away, because at least it wasn't THEM dressing in "poor taste".

And Art, I basically agree with you, but this was the one time she should NOT have been wearing a protest T-shirt. She knew she was going to the SOTU, she didn't HAVE to wear it.
On the other hand, I don't think she should have been arrested either.
Maybe told her to put her jacket back on. More like dress protocol.
Simply that, and no other.
