Robert's point is a good one -- where was the emphasis in reasons for going into Iraq? Certainly democracy was mentioned. Everything under the sun was mentioned at least once. If I find another speech by a top official where democracy _wasn't_ mentioned does that mean you lose? Saying that the claim is that democratization was never mentioned, not even once, and that if even Robert's 0.1% threshold was met then "The Left" is lying or stupid is a silly straw man argument.
Do a content analysis of top officials' speeches in the six months before the invasion, and see the relative priority given to democratization vs WMD and terrorism.
Look at polling data on what the public thought the administration's case was, or, on why they themselves supported intervention or not?
Ask the senior military officers I know who were in CENTCOM planning Operation Iraqi Freedom for that matter, or on the staffs of some of the divisions that led the operation.
Do any serious analysis like that, and you'll find that the scale tilts very, very strongly towards WMD rather than democratization.

Of course there wasn't "nothing"
