Geoff, you're restating the WMD argument, but what this is about is the revisionist assertion that that wasn't the reason for war, that actually it was all about installing democracy. The fact that Powell spent a couple of hours laying out the case for WMD and not the case for installing democracy is a refutation of that revisionism as massive and unstoppable as a neutron star. Powell's statements to the UN represent the official position of the United States government. The opinion of a blogger or columnist doesn't by any stretch of the imagination trump that.
