In general who's causing the trouble and who's trying to make peace?
Trouble - fanatical religious Jewish settlers and fanatical religious Muslims
Peace - moderate/secular Israelis and moderate/secular Palestinians
It's pretty darn obvious.
and of course in the USA we have for one example Christian organizations who try to hide their ugly anti-gay bigotry and hatred under the guise of respectable religious beliefs and morals derived from their ancient, confused, contradictory, silly and superstituous texts...
Let's face it, religious faith is an outdated relic, a throwback to an early stage in human civilization when desparate tribal brutes would grasp and embrace any bizarre myth of good/evil magical spirits in the sky above them, and the ground beneath them, to explain the overwhelming, inexplicable and terrifying events in the world around them. To persist in the irrational belief of such wild tales and their associated backwards practices simpy serves to further divide people, create the conditions for hostility and war and terrorism, and to retard social progress in so many ways.
