Unfortunately the masses don't choose Presidents. Instead, they vote on those that have been pre-selected for them.
Your living with the fallacy that all those who suffer under BDS, and whose grasp of global politics is limited to leftist talking points, will choose the candidate for President that counters current directions.
It's naive, somewhat startling for someone who has been around the block a few times.
The future President will represent big money interests. Whether he/she is Democrat or Republican - they will be bankrolled by folks with an agenda contrary to the interests of the masses.
Soros bankrolled Kerry and his hundreds of millions were flushed down the toilet. He wanted to free up foreign markets and US blocks so he could gain control over many nations and become the de-facto string-puller for much of the third world. He felt Kerry would be a pliable tool.
Bush represents other US interests. Bush won.
BDS doesn't sell Soros and other big-ticket investors. They want their candidate to comply to their own agenda. Unions have been sold out by Democrats and so they are courting the soon to be huge voting bloc of descendants of illegal aliens. Unfortunately, these poor hordes only represent votes and votes don't select Presidents. So we still have corporate and entertainment industry support for the Dem/leftist candidate. The biggest money coming from those who want a beholden candidate.
Corruption is universal but Dems generally hold the longest record and statistical edge in selling out to the highest bidder. If I wanted to buy a Presidential candidate who would support legislation favorable to my agenda, I would start with the Democrat.
Bush is history. His "rep" or "poll numbers" don't mean squat to the investors in the next President.
The next race will again be between two distinct financial agendas.
I'll vote for the candidate who will sell out the least, preserve the most freedom and support capitalism.
