"Oversimplification of foreign affairs is for spectators and partisans"

(Warning: This post contains simple foreign affairs concepts).

Bush Sr. warned his son about going into Iraq.
If the Russians are making money selling arms to the Iraqis, it only makes sense.

So much sense that even ....I....could see the vacuum we'd create by going into Iraq. This option of Russia's was on OUR books, we knew it would happen. So let's stop with the:

We brought the USSR to their knees. Their top generals and KGB agents are having a hard time getting paid. So why not venture into the international arms market? We do it too.
