And the knee-high laceup brown leather snowboots that can't be used for the snow anymore (I've had them since high school in 1973, and the lining is gone), but are very fine for costumed storytelling. I have a gypsy dress and a tricorn hat with a plume. Those boots, along with big hoop earrings, are perfect accessories for the female pirate storytelling.
And the canvas KMart pool shoes. But I throw those out every year, so strictly speaking, I don't have them yet, but will next month. So that makes it, what? 10 pairs of footwear (boots are not shoes) with one phantom pair, and four of them over 10 years old.
