Ron Howard usually does a pretty good job
He's not exactly out of the loop.
I've heard some pretty heavy things about Opus Dei from some connected people I know, and it's NOT good. So if Ron Howard is going to do an expose`, he might just hit a few nerves.
I watched the History Channels' special on Opus Dei tonight, and even though it only brushed the surface, the fact 2 hrs. of self-flagellation or self-inflicted pain is required 5 days a week by some members and that others had to get cult interventionists to get their family members out, was enough to show me that this religion is dangerous as well.
It's founder was also too connected to the fascist leader Franco at the time, probably to keep his head and all the money they funnelled him.
