Gee guy, thanks for the compliment. And, I love your line about diversity. That falls in the best chuckle of the day category. As I adopt it I will adapt it from "people of different races and cultures" into all Republicans.

You do surprise me, I mean, I have been addressing you as a Christian oriented gentleman all this time, and then you say <"Second, a great deal of mutually exclusive things in this world don't have a "synthesis." As one example, "alive" and "dead" don't have a compromise position. Neither do existence or non-existence. It is a capital mistake to assume that everything in existence has a "middle position.">

I certainly would have thought spirituality, spirit and soul would have immediately lept to your conciousness? To the secular mind Hegel's process applies to the realm of ideas. It is the process of change and the synthesis is the only possible result when definition holds the opposing concepts immutable. If you are holding that existence and non-existence are only concepts and not states of reality, I refer you to Bill Clinton so you can debate what is is.
