Stan Meyers invents a way to split water into oxgygen and hyrdogen using a simliar process to electrolysis. He was murdered for his ideas and all his research lost.

For you scientist types, for you individuals who think I'm wrong about having a target painted on your back, watch this fascinating 16 minute documentary of his work. Then ask, what happened to <him?> An incredible tale.
