re: Time is on our side?
I think we’ll evolve into something, probably several things, before the Sun dies. If we spread across the galaxy, we’ll the worlds we live on, terraformed or not, will probably change humans on those worlds.
I wonder if there will be a branch of humanity that uses genetic engineering to keep the “tradition†human look. Perhaps they would do it because they like that look. Or perhaps for nostalgic or religious reasons. And would the rest of evolved humanity look down on them?
